Who is the workshop for?
In The Garden of Life is for all men, and intersex, genderqueer, and non-binary folks who feel a sense of belonging in expansive men’s space. We offer a variety of events, some for specific affinity groups and others for everyone.
Workshop Description
In The Garden of Life is a week-long intensive where you will have the opportunity to dive into your relationship with your body, your heart, and your soul. Your specific life issues, challenges, self-observations, and future wishes serve as guides for your journey. The unique structure of this intensive centers on twice-daily, personalized, one-on-one sessions with sacred intimates (practitioners trained as erotic healers), in addition to daily communal rituals and activities.
The range of the work is far-reaching yet tailored to your specific needs. Possible areas of exploration may include interpersonal relationships, boundaries, consent, a history of sexual abuse or trauma, current erotic frustrations or isolation, impotence, drug or alcohol additions, lookism, ageism, racism, HIV-related concerns, and other challenges. The goal of the week is to clear the way to a joyful life through the healing power of conscious embodiment.
Please note: Participation in this intensive requires writing and submitting a brief email or letter of introduction, including your previous Body Electric experiences, your intentions for the workshop, and expressions of self-awareness about your challenges, wounds, and beliefs. If you are accepted into the workshop, a more-detailed questionnaire is also necessary for participation.
