This is an associated Body Electric workshop for cisgender* men. We offer a variety of events, some for specific affinity groups and others for everyone. This workshop will be held on the traditional and ancestral lands of the Tongva, Chumash, and Kizh peoples.

About the Workshop

Moving Into Intimacy is a weekend of sensual, creative, moving meditations. As creatures of habit, many of us, especially those in long-term relationships, get stuck in ruts. Moving Into Intimacy provides a treasure trove of new pathways to intimacy.

By identifying and freeing the mind of barriers, participants will learn how to navigate their embodied pleasure with new ideas and practical tools.

*Cisgender is a term that is used to describe people whose gender identity matches the sex they were assigned at birth. For example, someone who was assigned male at birth (AMAB) and identifies as a man is a cisgender man.

Facilitators

Lui Gervais
Lui is a guest faciltitor with the Body Electric School. Lui Gervais is a writer, dancer, artist and sex/intimacy coach. He is the author of The Nipple Whisperer and other erotic epiphanies. He has taught his creative, somatic intimacy courses at schools and festivals around the world. He has offered a sacred intimacy practice in Seattle, WA for more than decade. His online course Moving Into Intimacy has been downloaded by hundreds of students. He holds a MFA in movement and somatic practices from the University of Washington. He is the founder of the Menbodied Institute and lives currently in Austin, TX.
