The CBE (Celebrating the Body Erotic) workshops are a celebration of physical existence, emphasizing the body’s role in connecting individuals to each other and to the world around them. Rooted in Eastern Philosophies of Taoism and Tantra, utilizing breath and erotic energy for healing and personal growth. You’ll discover the power of consent, embrace your authentic self, and strengthen connection and intimacy through deeper self-connection and vulnerability.
We have been trying to explain exactly what CBE is all about for many years and this is why that is so difficult. “If you can describe the Tao, then it is not the real Tao” This saying originates from the Tao Te Ching, a foundational text of Taoism, attributed to Lao Tzu and helps describe that these are individual experiences that happen in a group.
I observed/witnessed a participant finding their voice to instruct a masseur giver. I witnessed the final stage of grieving the unexpected death of a husband … so that the living husband could find his way to move forward in his life remaining.
I was paired with my husband in an inner/outer circle inquiry about who taught you how to love. ❤️
My breakthrough is the dispelling of any inkling of doubt about whether the design of the workshop reliably produces results.
My breakthrough is in being present to the facilitator to fully listen and embody that this workshop is a rite of passage for disenfranchised and marginalized people. The CBE joins you to a linkage of thousands of people who engaged in the exact rite of passage. [I ended my error thinking that “I’m an outsider … when in reality I’m in a lineage that plays with true reality and embodiment.].
I’m walking away from the workshop knowing that I am a “Part of Something!” The something is old, timeless and sacred.
And, it feels different than my temporal church membership …
my temporal political group affiliation …
my temporal employment affiliation …
my temporal choral music group affiliation …
It feels natural …
It feels aligned to soul purpose …
This has lineage and history … and I know something deeply about the person that shares they have completed a CBE … no matter 1984 or 2025.
