Episode 51: Exploring the Connection between Divinity & Eros with Jon Carl Lewis & Dr. Kevin Johnson

Body Electric is offering a new workshop designed specifically for religious or spiritual leaders and guides. It’s called Healing the Sacred Erotic Connection.

Join ELP host Craig Cullinane (and facilitator of this new workshop) with special guests Jon Carl Lewis and Dr. Kevin Jenson as they explore the connection between the erotic and one’s divinity and the opportunity for spiritual leaders to have a space to heal their own erotic wounds.

Jon Carl Lewis (he/him) is a spiritual guide and educator helping individuals and communities discern healthy practices and attitudes for themselves, those they love, and their communities at the places where the spiritual, the sexual, and the relational intersect. He enjoys helping individuals and communities of faith imagine embodied practices for the creation of stronger connections with themselves, their community, and the Sacred. Jon Carl is a candidate for the Master of Arts in Public Ministry at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary where his academic concentration is in gender/sexuality from an embodied, queer perspective. You can connect with Jon Carl and see what he is up to at https://bio.site/joncarllewis or make an appointment to chat at https://calendly.com/joncarllewis.

Dr Kevin Jenson is a bible scholar and sex educator helping Christian leaders talk about sexual ethics in ways that are biblical, practical, empowering, and inclusive.
