Reclaiming Sacred Sexuality
As we enter September, our overarching focus turns toward Inner Peace & Self-Care.
For many of us, traditional self-care routines bring to mind quiet moments, meditation, or spending time in nature. But true, deep-seated inner peace requires integration—bringing every part of who we are into harmony. When we compartmentalize our lives, separating our spiritual side from our physical, sensory selves, we create an internal divide that robs us of genuine peace.
That is why, this month on our calendar, our Learning Track focus is Sacred Sexuality.
Bridging the Sacred and the Erotic
Society often teaches us that the sacred and the erotic are two forces at odds with each other. We are conditioned to place spirituality in one box and physical desire in another.
The Sacred Sexuality track challenges this divide. What if your most passionate moments were also your most deeply spiritual? What if your body—and the erotic life force moving through it—were not things to suppress or overcome, but direct gateways to spiritual wisdom, vitality, and wholeness?
When you honor the body as a temple and reclaim erotic energy as a vital life force, self-care shifts from a temporary relief strategy to a profound act of self-reclamation.
From the Jesuit Novitiate to the Body Electric
This bridge between spirit and body lies at the very heart of the Body Electric School’s origins.
Our founder, Joseph Kramer, spent ten years as a Jesuit, studying, teaching, and preparing for the Catholic priesthood. His extensive time in spiritual formation gave him a deep appreciation for the sacred, ritual, and contemplation. Yet, his journey ultimately led him to realize that true spiritual completion could not exist by shutting out the body.
Applying the deep devotion, rigor, and reverent mindset from his years with the Jesuits, Kramer pioneered a path that reconnected spirit back to the physical form. He created a framework wherein conscious breathwork, touch, and ritual allow individuals to experience sexual energy, not as a distraction from the divine, but as an expression of it.
Looking Ahead: Divine Embodiment

Integrating this awareness into your daily life creates a foundation of deep, unshakeable inner peace. As we explore Sacred Sexuality throughout September, we are preparing the ground for our upcoming flagship gathering: Divine Embodiment.
Held in-person from November 19–22, 2026, in Highlands, NC, Divine Embodiment is an immersive workshop for men, designed to help you:
- Awaken the sacred power of your erotic life force.
- Rediscover the Divine alive in your physical body through breath, movement, and ritual.
- Move beyond societal dogma into a space of integrated passion, purpose, and wholeness.
Your Self-Care Invitation This Month
This September, we invite you to expand your definition of self-care:
