Take your facilitation journey to the next level with our Advanced Facilitation course. This in-person program is designed for those who have completed the Foundations of Facilitation virtual course and are eager to advance their skills by practicing the in-person dynamics of group facilitation.

This transformative experience begins with three virtual pre-sessions, leading up to an immersive 5-day, 4-night in-person retreat in Mill Bay, Canada. Throughout the course, you will refine your ability to create meaningful in-person connections, holding space for groups with confidence and clarity.

Key focus areas include:

  1. Navigating in-person group dynamics and holding space effectively.
  2. Integrating somatic and embodiment techniques to guide group energy.
  3. Setting clear agreements that foster trust and collaboration.
  4. Structuring time for impactful and seamless workshops.
  5. Exploring impactful facilitation methods that leave lasting impressions.
  6. Opportunities for each participant to practice teaching individually and in pairs.
  7. Workshop designs from start to finish.
  8. Strategies for promoting and marketing your facilitation work.

This course is designed to encourage deep connection, group dynamics, and supportive relationships, enhancing your facilitation skills while fostering community.

The in-person part of this workshop will be held in Mill Bay, Canada from October 15-19, 2025. All students must also attend several virtual sessions in September and October as part of the curriculum.

The three virtual pre-sessions are scheduled for the following dates and times:

  • Wednesday, September 17, 7-9 pm eastern / 4-6 pm Pacific
  • Wednesday, September 24, 7-9 pm Eastern / 4-6 pm Pacific
  • Wednesday, October 8, 7-9 pm Eastern / 4-6 pm Pacific
