Each quarter, we will gather to watch films that open hearts and minds— stories that explore pleasure, power, identity, and liberation through the lens of equity and sex positivity. These evenings invite us to question what we’ve been taught about bodies and belonging, and to imagine what true erotic freedom might look like — for ourselves and our communities.

After each film, we’ll share in a guided conversation, weaving together insights, discomforts, and delights in a space that values honesty and respect.

What It Means To Be Intersex

In this TEDX talk, Susannah Temko reveals the shame, prejudice, and harm faced by members of the intersex community, as they are forced to conform to a binary understanding of sex. She calls on us all to discard outdated notions of biological sex and accept the complexity within humanity.

Temko says, “I am not here to say that the categories of men and women don’t exist. I’m saying, like most things in this world, it is more complicated than that.”

Our post-screening discussion will include how a false sex binary harms everyone and how we can help intersex people achieve greater agency.
