What to Expect: The Big Bear Retreat Experience
Because of the depth, care, and safety required for this work, we only host the Sacred Intimacy Training once every two to three years.
Our upcoming retreat takes place from October 28 to November 1, 2026, in the mountain sanctuary of Big Bear, California. Escaping the noise of daily life to gather in nature allows the group to drop fully into presence, integration, learning, and community.
Here is what your time in Big Bear looks like:
- Fully Immersive & All-Inclusive: Your tuition covers the entire experience—all instruction, comfortable lodging, and shared community meals, so you can focus completely on your practice and integration without distraction.
- Guided Rituals & Hands-On Practice: Facilitators JoJo Bear and Lizz Randall lead a compassionate staff through experiential practice sessions, rituals, and group consults where feelings, touch, dialogue, and sensuality are negotiated with clear boundaries and absolute honor.
- Pre-Retreat Preparation & Privacy: To ensure everyone enters the container with aligned intentions, enrollment begins with a supportive conversation with our facilitation team. Once enrolled, you’ll receive prep work and readings to set the stage before arriving in Big Bear. As always with Body Electric, your privacy, confidentiality, and consent are held with the utmost care.
