Body electric workshops provide simple, safe, heart-based containers in which to connect with, reclaim and explore the body’s expression of self with others in a playful natural way.

Body Electric workshops allow participants to transcend cultural narratives that teach us that sexuality and sensuality begin and end with the genitals. And when I say "transcend," I mean not just having an intellectual understanding of this concept (which gets us nowhere), but a full-bodied, game-changing transformation of how to "be with" others, both sensually and just as fellow human beings navigating life in a body.

I am so grateful to Body Electric for setting up safe, participant-directed experiences that allow one to rediscover parts of oneself that have been denied and expressions of sensuality/sexuality that are too often front-loaded with shame and defensiveness.

This was my first weeklong intensive, having attended one or 2 weekend workshops and virtual workshops a year since 2015. An intensive gives much more time to cultivate new and lasting relationships with so many beautiful men, and it gives you time and space to practice being brave, kind and loving, not just to others, but to yourself, in a safe, supportive container.

The Body Electric School has changed the course of my life. My ability to heal and to accept not only my sexual history and homophobia, but to learn to truly celebrate and find great freedom in my erotic life. I am so grateful.

Touching the Heart of Stillness has genuinely changed my life, giving me a deeper meditative practice and a better, less adversarial relationship with the restless energies at work in my own head. It also gave me a solid introduction to the Buddhist philosophy behind mindfulness practice and a chance to approach some old wounds from a much more compassionate angle — all in a setting of stunning natural beauty, lovely folks, and excellent food. The Mature Eros Workshop was a valuable experience. The process helped me feel connected and I received many tools to help navigate the challenges of growing older and honoring all of me including my eros.

Body Electric School is a world leader in the offering of Sacred Intimacy training. The founder coined the term 40 years ago and BE has upheld the commitment to deliver this important training for the promotion of sacred sexuality for all of humanity to enjoy and bask in sexual happiness. BE is an awesome organization and it draws awesome people to teach and to participate in trainings, such as Sacred Intimacy. All those persons associated with BE are bold and beautiful people and they all feel like kindred spirits to me.

To get to be in erotic space that was “queer” without any further distinction beyond that felt like magic. This space and experience was something I had spent years dreaming of without even fully knowing it. I hope to have the opportunity to do it again and cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone who feels themself to be queer.

Ultimately, though BE are in the terrain of the body, I have found each time I take a workshop that the work and community and discoveries are food for the soul. BE has changed my way of being in the world: to be more embodied and to remain in touch with myself as an embodied spirit. Body Electric is the medicine of intimacy. In a world too full of isolation.

Body Electric has been foundational for me to gain perspective and healing around my orientation and other aspects of my life for the last 25 years. I continue to be amazed, intrigued and challenged by attending workshops realizing things to re-learn again. I have gained some longtime friends that in some cases have lasted for decades from those events. Perhaps it is best said before I took my first workshop the words from the coordinator: "You will find it interesting." Indeed.

When I discovered BE was offering a BIPOC centered CBE workshop, I drove across the border to be there. It was well worth the drive! Celebrating the Body Electric in a BIPOC only space supported me in washing away my social conditioning of shame and secrecy around sexuality and instead cultivated a culture which normalized my desires to having pleasure. Pleasure is my birthright. I came away experiencing pleasure as a portal to my healing journey. We laughed, we cried, we screamed, we danced, we experienced pleasure together! I sense a new chapter in life has begun from this transformative, expansive experience!

Body Electric workshops always feel like a salve for my soul, and Wild Honey was no exception. I'm always met wherever I am at in my life with compassion from the staff, whether that is experiencing joy, sorrow, apathy, or any other emotion; whether I am partnered or unpartnered; and whether I have a clear intention or have more questions than answers. I was given the gift of having the space to be curious about myself and my body in an amazing natural setting, invited to witness the experience of others on their own journeys, and feel the power of community in a ritual space that is radically rooted in consent and pleasure.

The Wild Honey experience helped me to push my edges beyond what I thought was possible in a very supportive and loving space. I have my Passion back and am ready to finish a few projects that stalled or fizzled out. Balancing the sacral chakra is imperative in elevating my conscious awareness of mySelf. I have previously ignored that one and focused on the heart through the crown. That is now in my rear view mirror.

BE workshops are a place where you can discover your erotism. A place where you can be who you are. You can never be too big or too small; too loud or too quiet; you are always enough. The workshops, no matter how many you attend, are life changing.

Body Electric was an unparalleled opportunity to explore my sexuality with others in a controlled, safe environment. The workshops I attended with my wife were some of the most exciting and challenging experiences I've ever had and I'm very grateful I was able to participate in them. I experienced a greater awareness and understanding about how connections with people of all genders, ages, and body types helped me better experience myself in new and unexpected ways, in turn helping me better experience others and support a deepened experience of themselves. I enjoyed learning new techniques and receiving touch in ways which felt more connected and inspired than I'd ever felt before.

Into the Heart of Eros AG — This program is intended for the experienced Body Electric participant and is a vehicle to expand and continue your growth in various forms of Eros. It was superbly facilitated by my 2 favorite facilitators and there was enough love in that room to last several months!

I would tell them that I never feel more held, seen and heard than at a BE workshop. Any of them I have done, online and in person. I am affirmed in how I am and who I am. I am allowed to be my authentic self whether that's messy, sad, happy, energized or tired; it is all welcome. The facilitators do an amazing job at creating a space where I can let my guard down, connect with others, and stretch my boundaries to discover new and transformative things within myself and the world I live in.

What I consistently see at BE workshops is that a group of people can connect with each other at a deep level, in a safe container, and use touch, pleasure, and open-hearted sharing as a laboratory to discover hearts' desires, and as a launchpad to achieve them.

I would enthusiastically recommend this experience to anyone who feels ready for a deep dive into exploring pleasure, an opportunity to question and investigate our patterns and reinforced stories around attraction and eros. An experience where the uniqueness and complexity of each individual reflects our simple and collective humanity.

My Body Electric experience is a journey and I am loving my journey so far!

Walked in on Friday evening not knowing a soul in the group, left on Sunday evening feeling an authentic connection to this amazing group of men, each and every one of them. We are all connected, we are all divine, we are all pure LOVE!

This was my fourth Body Electric workshop. My experience and learning continue to expand and deepen. I felt safe. I felt included.

I trust the process and people leading the process at Body Electric. I've done and still do talk therapy. Body Electric is not "therapy," nor does it claim to be. However, I have found things, learned things, accepted things and healed from things that I discovered were being held in my body through the loving, careful Body Electric workshops over the last 16 years. I continue to attend because I continue to grow and have new discoveries about myself and my place in a richer life. At my first BE experience in 2005, I knew I had found my "Tribe."

My first Body Electric (Tantra 101) workshop was a quality experience, wonderfully orchestrated by the coordinators and assistants. Great opportunity to learn Tantra basics and experiment with erotic touch and energy. I left with a feeling of strong affection for all my fellow participants and with new knowledge that I can harness erotic energy to create states of ecstasy and joy that then generalizes to a pervasive sense of bliss and well-being in my everyday life.

It is hard for me to put into words the experience I had at the Dear Love of Comrades workshop. At the beginning of the week I knew hardly anyone in the room. By the end of the week I felt connected to and known by each and every one of them. I was seen in a way I had never been before.

I have attended so many personal development programs. The retreats hosted by Body Electric are the most powerful I’ve experienced. I wish I knew about them sooner!

For anyone who feels stuck in their life journey and are sick and tired of being stuck and burdened by their past, or want to be their authentic self and have healthier relationships with other men, then this is for you. Are you ready? CBE was the push I needed to get unstuck, and get on the right path on my life journey. This is an investment in yourself, a much deserved and overdue investment, and a real bargain for what you receive for your investment. It is not easy work, but if you take the plunge, and give it at least 110%, you will be amazed at what will happen. CBE, Body Electric, saved my life! I can't say it enough, I can't thank you enough. DO IT!

If at all possible, do what you can to attend CBE. Come with an open mind and an open heart, but most importantly, come as you are.

I have taken this class at least twice, and cannot encourage people enough to register if you have even the slightest interest. The entire workshop is one big spacious learning environment in which to explore eros, physical care, community, and healing. Hats off yet again, Body Electric, for another wonderful experience.

Attending the CBE course was the pinnacle of self-care in 2024. I needed help bringing more erotic joy into my life, breaking patterns that have been with me for +25 years. I debated the value of the experience... couldn't I just read a book or watch a video? For me... no. The energy and joy created by this group of men could not be replicated online or by myself. I made some new friends, picked up some new skills, and thoroughly enjoyed pushing myself a bit over the weekend.

As I've continued my tantra journey, Body Electric has proven themselves to be the go-to and Gold Standard. I'd feel a little bit lost at sea without these wise and caring people.

Pay attention to why you came in the first place. What drew you here. Something is missing perhaps. For me, it was understanding my need to connect with other gay men on a deeper level. Sex is easy. Intimacy takes vulnerability. Be as honest and as vulnerable as you can.
