About the Workshop
This workshop offers an introduction to a stream of Tantra—a philosophy that originated in India and centers the body as a laboratory for transformation. By consciously weaving together Eros and spirit, breath and energy, you’ll be invited into practices that foster deeper attunement, pleasure, and aliveness.
We will queer what has historically been presented as heteronormative, aligning traditional teachings with our lived experiences as queer people. Together, we’ll explore how to move beyond cultural projections and binary thinking to connect with the unique landscape of our own bodies and inner energies.
In a time when queer lives are under immense pressure, this space will offer grounding for the body, mind, and spirit. Through experiential practices, we will support integrated healing—using the power of Eros not just for pleasure, but as a current of resistance and renewal
Using the body’s natural energy centers as a guide, we’ll explore the relationship between physical and energetic experience and develop our understanding of the chakra system.
Using the energy centers of the body as a guide, the dynamic relationship between the physical and energetic will be explored via the chakra system.
Conscious consent, choice, and humor are foundational to this weekend container. What if there was no hierarchy or no single “right” way to be sexual, sensual, or turned on?
We acknowledge that Tantra is a sacred spiritual tradition rooted in and belonging to Indian culture and its peoples. As queer, white-bodied facilitators who began studying Tantra in 2000, we approach this work with deep respect. While we’ve been called to explore this path through our own embodied curiosity, we do not claim ownership over these traditions. We honor the teachings and the people from whom they originate.
