A lifelong activist and advocate, Tom Kovach (he/they) brings a wealth of experience in organizational leadership and building strong communities to his work. He made history as the first openly gay city council member in Oklahoma and has lent his expertise to the boards of many nonprofits. Tom is passionate about bringing people together to accomplish shared goals, and he views the Body Electric School as a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being of both individuals and the human community. When not focused on his impactful work, Tom enjoys life on a working ranch with his husband of 25 years, indulging in astronomy, hiking, and music – and yes, he’s a proud Trekkie!
