A lifelong activist and advocate, Tom Kovach (he/they) brings a wealth of experience in organizational leadership and building strong communities to his work. He made history as the first openly gay city council member in Oklahoma and has lent his expertise to the boards of many nonprofits. Tom is passionate about bringing people together to accomplish shared goals, and he views the Body Electric School as a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being of both individuals and the human community. When not focused on his impactful work, Tom enjoys life on a working ranch with his husband of 25 years, indulging in astronomy, hiking, and music – and yes, he’s a proud Trekkie!

My first experience with The Body Electric School was a life-altering retreat at Easton Mountain in 2006 followed by over 17 years of self-study of the healing power of pleasure. While attending, I came to understand that- without realizing it- I had been pursuing Eros all my life, through a number of seemingly different career paths. Over my adult life, I have honored my passions and talents for food, sex, and body celebration from a place of wild excesses to a place of directed wisdom. I have learned from many teachers, and I am still determined to live on the edge of possibility for what it is to enjoy being human.
As a Healthy Living Coach and Sacred Intimate, I now work with humans looking to live their best lives, sharing insight, motivation, strategies, and experiences. Communication is the key part of this work: listening, speaking, and sharing touch. Conceived through a deep listening of myself sparked by a personal yoga journey, I have spent over 20 years sharing a message of awakening and deep feeling that completely aligns with the message of The Body Electric School.
Reconnecting with the school in 2021 at the first Celebrating the Body Erotic offered after the COVID lockdown, I knew as soon as I arrived that I would be working with the school in a bigger, unknown capacity. It started with taking on the joy of producing the “Erotic Liberation Podcast”, and then grew into producing the workshop promotional videos, and has eventually brought me to this position as the Director of Marketing. It is a natural fit, and a huge honor to be on the team stewarding the message of Joseph Kramer and countless other visionaries who have come before me.
